I have a 2015 13, 2014 15 and 2015 15 but they're in vertical stands running basically as desktops. The 13 is nice for portability but I missed the screen real estate. I finally got around to installing EasyRes on it and have it set to 2,048x1,260 (I think that's right) and it's great. This resolution makes me feel like I'm on the 15s. Of course if I got a 16, I'd probably want to run it at something like 2300x?. But the 13 is nice when I'm not at my desk.

Do others do the same with their 13s?

I have mine set permanently on the 'looks like 1440' resolution, one notch up from the standard 1280. Even if I sometimes have to zoom in on Excel sheets or web pages for readability (eyes aging faster than my mac) it's still an improvement because the % real estate taken up by menu bars etc is smaller. I also work a lot in full-screen mode for that reason.

I don't plan to do actual work on the 13. I have the 15s hooked up to 4K and QHD monitors for work. But doing higher resolution means that I could use the 13 for work. I wish that Apple supported higher resolutions in the OS.
