Limewire, Acqlite and Cabos

I'm having problems connecting to networks on Cabos and Acqlite. Limewire and my torrent app Transmission connect fine using the default settings, but for some reason Cabos and Acqlite just can't connect with their defaults.

My firewall is enabled, but if Limewire and Transmission have no problem with it, why would Cabos and Acqlite? I've already tried reinstalling both, but no success.

ok, i'm beginning to think this may be an internet connection problem. now when i am at school (as opposed to home) transmission works, but now all three gnutella clients don't

any ideas?
