Limewire won't fully uninstall

I was trying to update my limewire to pro, but it wouldn't update it from the limewire I had on my Mac. So, I dragged several files relating to limewire to the trashbin and got rid of it all. However, when I tried to use the .dmg file I downloaded for the NEW limewire, the stupid thing only said, 'Cannot install. There is nothing to install'.

Please help!! I can't figure it out, and I've tried getting rid of the rest of the files...but nothing works! I've even tried restarting the computer! It didn't help it at all.

I dunno if this works but try downloading Appzapper or Apptrap. These are programs that will delete every file connected to the app.

After that re download the dmg file.
