Click MacUpdate and see if you need to update the java because that is what I think it is.

The exact same thing started happening to me the other day. So I updated limewire to 4.10 but now it keeps crashing (i was just about to run a search when i saw your post).

Limewire seems to be rather weird at the moment. i experience losing connections every 5 mins and downloads taking forever. However i heard of a thing called Frostwire. it's the same exactly as limewire but seems to be more steady. i use this now instead of limewire. any help on my connection problems?

I've just tried verifying and repairing permissions and disk utility is losing connection with the disc manager, leaving me to quit the task.
Not good.
