Does anyone have experience with Limewire on a mac. I have only used it on PC and in combination with windows vista killed my computer and i know other people who had the same problem. Has anyone experienced this on a mac. What is your opinion of Limewire on OS X?

LimeWire is the best. What many people don't know is that a few of these other P2P Apps actually use LimeWires servers/service.

Limewire does not have any servers that is why it is called peer to peer. There are no servers. As for protocol it doesn't matter do you say that one browser is the same as another just because they use the same protocol?

Anyway Limewire uses Gnutella which is nothing to do with Limewire originally.

I didn't know what to call it other than that I know that it's peer2peer so I guess I should of said users then.

Have no idea what Gnutella is (Not a very learn guy on P2P but am on file sharing sites like RapidShare and MegaUpload)

Basically your argument is a null point. Limewire is not better than any of the others listed here.

In terms of software it is actually quite a bit worse (in my opinion).

Well when I do use P2P I find LimeWire to be the quickest to give back results 99% are what I was looking for. I've tried others and really found them junk (This is my opinion)
