Well when I open my macbook the first thing that pops up is limewire I would like to know how i can change this?

Go into System Preferences > Accounts > Select your Account and click Login Items > Delete LimeWire.

Deleting it from your Login Items doesn't remove the application completely. Just go into your Applications folder and open it; you still have it.
