Limit bandwidth on OS X and Vista

We've just gotten internet installed at the house but it has a 6 gb per month limit. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good software for OS X and Vista that could limit bandwidth usage each month. I have 2 computers, one Mac and one running Vista. I want to assign 3 gb per month each. Or is there a better way to do this that will track to entire network?
