While driving and using CarPlay, is there a way prevent the watch from showing CarPlay screens, like the podcasts or music? I'm sitting in front of a large CarPlay screen with steering wheel controls, I won't be using the watch to control or view CarPlay information. I would prefer it staying on the Watch Face. I know I can cancel out and go back, but I don't want to do that every time.

It's under the Watch app under Maps. You can turn it off while using CarPlay

Thanks, but that appears to be just maps, I also want to turn off music, podcasts, audible. Most everything.

You can also turn off auto open audio apps. Can’t remember where in the setting it’s found, but I assure you it’s in there. That might help you.

Edit*** Nevermind, I found it:

General> Wake Screen> Auto-launch audio apps
