Can anyone confirm that apple now only lets you have 10 focus modes in iOS 16 beta 3? I had like 12 so I’m pretty sure you were able to have more before beta 3, but then in this beta the add button was gone until I deleted several focus modes and got back down to 9. At that point I was able to add a tenth, but after that got locked out again.

I'm not on 16, but see this in 15.5.

What seems to clear things is to tap the "Settings" back arrow and drop back into Focus. The "+" reappears.

Related: not all the icons show up when creating a custom Focus. Need to create the Focus, then go into "Name & Appearance" and will now see some additional icons to choose from.

I have been trying to solve this problem since the Public Beta yesterday and get a clear answer. I had like 14 modes before I updated. After I updated, I deleted one and now I can't add any more. I'm down to 12 as of now but afraid to delete them and would like to add more.

Interested what anyone finds.

So an update: I submitted this to apple and they got back and said the 10 limit was intended behavior. Looks like we’re not getting more than that :/
