Lindows rips iTunes with LSongs

I am for all with Linspire (was Lindows) philosophy in which many of the things they do is trying to push innovation (even if it is by repackaging OSS software by others and "renicing" them to make them user-friendly) and choice. Which is the very reason why I find the new LSongs, a straight down iTunes rip with bad taste, rather unfortunate. And LPhoto will be following in a week...

This is an early beta interface, it is most likely to change for the final release.

At least I would certainly hope so.

That's about like the pPod interface going through a change. As soon as Apple gets hold of it, LSongs will look different.

You'd think that they would have tried to do something different with placement and the look of the controls.

I'm sorry but that is just wrong, I think Apple should sue them if it comes out like that. They have the same design interface. Lindows needs to get their own style and not steal. Sorry, but thats how I feel about apple now.

The Lphoto is very close to iPhoto, as well, although it looks a bit disorganised. Their website even uses Apple style website tabs.
