line level speaker output

Hey folks,

How can I get line level out to my truck stereo with my 3G? I use the following with my iPod:

But this nor my dock connected to my home stereo work with the 3G. Does the 3G have a different pin configuration, thus requiring a different dock or is something wrong with my phone?

Just be aware that some of those older audio options for charging or utilizing the iPhone in the car have changed due to the new 3G iPhones not having the same configuration as v1 iPhones. Something about Firewire Pins being changed, (search Forums for the exact explanation).

Thanks, but I am looking specifically for a line level output solution. Is anyone aware of such a solution?
