My girlfriend is trying to recover some of the work she did years ago on her PC using Microsoft Works.
The files were saved as .wps, so I fired up Works and saved them as .doc and .docx using the last version of Works (9, I think) I could find on a friend's computer.
However, I guess she had some special font (or symbols, or something) installed at the time because phonetic symbols show up like this:
What should I do to see it again like it should be?
Thanks for any help you could provide! My knowledge in phonetic symbols is zero, and she used to work on a pc with the provided fonts, so she doesn't really know what to do.
