Mmmm, I just got a brand new iBook today and I absolutely love it! One thing though, I noticed when I open up folders the files within them are everywhere. I'm a weird organizational freak, so is there some way of lining them up? I've never really used a Mac before... just switched over from XP. I know in Windows you can just right click and choose line up icons, or something similar. Is there a way to do this in OSX or am I stuck with icons all over the place? Thanks.

Oh, and I know I can get them lined up by changing the view to List or doing the three windows view, but I like my large icons!

Is there a way to reduce the spacing of icons when in icon view so the columns are not spaced so far apart?

Oh awesome! Thanks so much... I still need to get used to that top bar. Lol. I'm probably going to be frequenting this board a lot.

You can also set preferencs for the finder to "snap to grid" so that when you dump a doc/folder into another, it will line up with the rest.
