Link Always opens safari

I get deal alerts from slick-deals and they used to open in safari with a pane at the top to open in the slick-deals app. This pane has recently stopped appearing... Is there a way to make the links just open the app?

Thanks!
 
It is just opening the app, Safari just has the ability to show a related app at the top, possibly depending on if the site specifies it or something like that.
