Hi All,
In an area where I only get wifi connection from my iphone, is there a way I can link my ipad to the iphone so my ipad gets wifi connection? Thank you.

Do you mean an area where you CAN'T get wifi, so your only connection to the internet is through 3G on your phone?

Depending on your carrier (and for a fee), you could set up your iPhone as a wifi hotspot. You can also just outright buy a wifi hotspot (with monthly fee) from many carriers. Then, there's probably a jailbreak option (which would be free), but I have no info on that.

Thank you for your reply. My phone gets wifi but I will have to pay $100/month for a service I will use occassionally if I buy through a cable company. Can't I hook up the ipad to the phone and get its' wifi?
