Linking two G5 for extra speed help

Ok.

I have a quad G5 2.5 with 4GB of ram. A guy is selling his quad with 8GB of ram.

Now, I am using Final Cut and After Effects and practicing Cinema 4D.

Is there a way to increase the overall spped of my computer by linking it to the other G5?

I know I can do renders via network with AF, but I mean, to accelerate everything conecting both. Like when you connect the apple servers.

Is it possible and realistically viable?
