This has been bugging me for ages now - whenever I control+click to open a link from mail, it will open in a tab (what I want) but choose to instead open the tab by maximising a minismised window - the one I am not using - as opposed to opening it in the current one, which is up on the screen.

I have yet to find a way to stop this happening, as most of the suggestions involve ticking/unticking a box about opening a "new tab in current window" or such in Safari's General preferences, which for reasons unknown to me I don't have, even though I'm using Safari5 and a Macbook Pro.

Anyone got a solution to fix it, or get the missing preferences please let me know! Thanks.

Check out the screenshot... :)

Thanks for the reply, but I already have preferences set that way...
Anyone else?
