Linksys BEFSR41 router and Xbox Live

Ok, the guy at Radio Shack said that this router will work with macs to set up xbox live, but I've tried and it hasn't worked. Is there anyway to get Xbox Live by using this router?

I tried what they said, but it didn't work. When I try going on the internet through the router, it doesn't work, but the modem and the router both have the Internet lights on. My Xbox 360 can't pass the DNS test. I don't know what that means.

Did you check your router settings?
Are you using ethernet or wireless on your xbox360?
