i dont know if this is the correct place to ask this question.
I have just brought the above router to replace a netgear router i have. The netgear works totally fine but my brother wanted better coverage with this new mimo technology ....
The problem is that with the new linksys router i cannot access My eBay page on my mac but my bro can on his windows.
I can access it fine via the old netgear router. And ive tried it through every free browser available via linksys but no luck.. it just says waiting... but never loads.
Anyone know why this is happening?
It also happened when i tried to change my email password... so i guess its to do with ONLY SOME secure web sites... I think it is also stopping the .Mac Backup program from doing its daily backup to idisk, but i havent checked this properly - just noticed it failed after switching to linkysys router to test.
I phoned linksys support but they basically said that if it works on windows.. tuff poo... or words to that effect.
If i dont get a solution its going back and ill stick with netgear - with which i have had absolutely no problem whatsoever - faultless (touching wood!).
Help? Anyone have any ideas know?
Im not super techy so explain in detail pls.
