Linksys Wireless Router--> Block WAN request not responding

Safari, Camino, and Firefox. I want to set it to Disable, but when I click Apply, not a thing happens. No errors, no nothing. I need to access my machine via ssh or telnet from out of home. If this option is not necessary, please let me know! Thanks.
