Hi.

I've been trying to stream media to my ps3 from my router wrt350n. After doing some googling and searching forums and i'm still not able to make things work.

My mac can see and play all the content from the drive connected to the router acting as the media server. As opposed my ps3 only sees the media server but then when i open it, it can't see anything else. I only get the video, music, photo and contents folders and sub-folders, but i end up with the "no titles" information. Further more it says there are no titles available to copy from.

Thanks in advance!

No clue about it... but might possibly be due to the file types you're using? Any .avi files should show up but if all you have is weird file types then maybe they might not display.

Other than that, no clue. I use Medialink (http://www.nullriver.com/products/medialink) to stream to my ps3 and it works extremely well. I guess you could get that and share the linksys drive to it, but of course that's a lot of overhead.

This post (http://www.fixya.com/support/t312610-ps3_access_problems_media_server_wrt350n) says to assign a Static IP to the ps3.

Another site suggests enabling UPnP in your router if it's not enabled.

Hi. Thanks for your input. I'll be a few months away from home, but i'll give it a try afterwards.
