I needed a new mobile broadband card for my MBP since my previous was a Sierra Wireless 875 PC Card and instead of buying an Express card from AT&T i decided to go for a mobile broadband router. I had tried the D-Link DIR-451 here a while back but that thing was junk. It would lose connection randomly all the time and then I'd have to go reseat the card to get it to pick back up. I got so mad I almost threw it through the window lol. I picked up the Linksys WRT54G3G-AT though from Dell and I would definitely recommend it so far to anyone that's looking for a mobile broadband option with AT&T. It was very easy to setup as well. I actually did the setup in XP and all I had to do was run the Linksys CD and click next a few times and it entered all the correct settings to connect to the AT&T network. I was then immediately connected to the internet and the connection seems to be holding strong and performing well.
The router really doesn't cost any more than buying an Express card and the great thing about the router is you can position it in the best place to get the best signal and you have nothing sticking out of the side of your MBP. I also have an antenna attached to my 875 to help improve signal strength.
