Linux Mint 15 Question

I am going to partition my drive so that I can run Linux Mint 15 (cinnamon) on my MacBook. Question I have is, on their website it says that the media is a DVD? Is it possible to install from a USB in this case?

Yes, at least in theory - but I've never had success making bootable USB drives for Macs. I know it can be done; I just don't know what tool(s) to use.
