Hey, I'm wondering if anyone's got Debian running on a PB 1.67GHz? I've got it running but the video's in fallback mode. I also can't get node.js to compile. I've read that people have been successful in doing so. Java also seems to be an issue. I can't get it to launch Minecraft. I understand that it will be a slow but there are texture packs to speed things up.

What Debian install are you running, have added non-free repositories to your sources.list file? Have you installed the ATI driver? Have you installed Mesa-utils? Are you getting 3d hardware acceleration? Your PowerBook has an ATI card so it should work nicely with Debian. I've never tried to run minecraft so can't help you there.
