Lion 'Already installed' on Snow Leopard?

installed simply means that it's downloaded, and the installer is open. go to applications folder

I know that, I'm just getting to the bottom of this step by step.

Sorry, I should have explained a little more. I havn't downloaded or used any version of Lion before, and I havnt bought it yet. As I went to buy it today, I come across it saying thats its already installed. Hence my confusion :/

So if you go to the purchased tab in the App Store, Lion is not listed there. Am I right?

Had the same problem when I tried to buy Lion on MAS. Found no solution so I ended up downloading it from "somewhere else"...

Yeah, I'd rather not 'acquire' it from elsewhere as it is only £20. Guess I'll try fiddling around with some stuff and see if I can get it to work...

Fixed it! I just repaired the disk permissions, and restarted after that and it worked. Currently downloading it now
