Okay, after reading all the threads here about how terrible Lion is and Apple should be ashamed and how no one should buy it, I'm getting stoked about using it when it debuts. 
I have a Mac Pro 5,1 Hex 3.33 Westmere with a ATi 5770. Is a 5870 going to give me a performance boost with all the eye candy goodness in Lion?
What I'm really asking is: "Can I convince my wife that I need to purchase a 5870 to upgrade to Lion?" Kidding!
