I haven't been able to Repair Permissions or run Verify Disk ever since installing Lion.

I also booted from an external drive of Lion to do the same, the drive can be seen but when Repair Permissions or Repair Disk - it does nothing.

Any thoughts?

PS - a quick Google search, it seems some folks are going through the same thing. You?

thanks

RAID is untouchable

Booting from an external USB Lion recovery partition, I created various RAID arrays with Disk Utility (again, Lion version).

After it's created and ready to go, I tried to repair permissions and repair disk. Both just blink and fail.

The terminal command for repair permissions works fine, the terminal command for repair disk fails with: You cannot specify an AppleRAID set and it should not have a partition map

Is this new? (I used < sudo diskutil repairdisk / >.) What's the result of this with Snow Leopard?

Can anyone help out?

thanks
