Has anyone noticed an increase in RAM usage? The amount of free RAM has dropped about 60% compared to Snow Leopard running the same apps
 
I didn't notice, but Lion does use more ram.

Get 8 GB and forget about it :D
 
I totally agree. I'm using about 30-40% less RAM than I was in Snow Leopard. We'll see if this holds, though. It could be just because I've restarted my computer so many times throughout the install process and it hasn't been running all that long to fill back up.

It would be a nice surprise, though! :D
