lion and vmware fusion performance

i recently received a update with a lion running laptop.

my vmare 4 is so slow! resuming a win7 box is a 4 minute ordeal. is this the new normal or am i doing something wrong?

this is like night and day from before.

any help would be appreciated.

i have 4gb's of ram in the machine.

i always have one linux and one windows box loaded with no issues before on SL with 4gb's of ram.

i will update to 8gb if that is my stranglehold?

I'm taking that you had VMware Fusion 3 on SL? Try and downgrade back to that and see your performance. V3 works fine on my Lion machine.

Upgrading your RAM always helps for Virtual Machines too.
