My Lion download is literally 2 KB/s... Is anyone having problems? My Internet connection is a 99Mbps connection and should be downloading lion in a few minutes, not hours.

There are presumably thousands upon thousands of people trying to download the same thing as you this very moment. Apple has only so much bandwidth on their servers to accomodate these downloads.

Have you tried stopping it and resuming? I'd think the servers are overloaded but I managed to download mine a few hours from release at over 600KB/s when my connection is only 10Mb/s

I downloaded yesterday when it launched and it was fast until I hit 2.84gb then it just stopped. So after 5 minutes of it being stuck on 2.84 I paused the download for 3 seconds and reinitiated and it took off again and got the last gb in like 4 minutes. Then again thousands upon thousands are downloading this, maybe a friend did it already and created the boot disc you can use.

I started the download at about 8PM central last night. Was only 400MB down when I decided to let it go for the night. When I checked this morning it was at the screen waiting for me to proceed with the upgrade. In process now . . .
