I've got a few applications I never got around to thoroughly testing out during their free-trial periods despite having them installed. Anybody know if Lion resets the clock on installed trial-software beyond their trial periods?

Only if you do a clean install.

That goes for any OS upgrade. Given that Lion is an install in place, you'll not get a reprieve.

Or if you delete the application and the application support folder associated with it in some cases.

Sometimes you have to hunt into /Library/Application Support as well.
