has anybody experienced this problem? the clock are stuck with the time I last used the my mbp 2009, the pointer is not moving and the only solution is to turn my macbook off by holding the power button. does anybody know the solution? thank you

Is your HDD factory? My wife had similar problems with two different Seagate Hard Drives. All her problems went away with a WD Scorpio.

yes, it is factory. so i guess clean install of lion won't fix the problem, and i will have to buy new hdd. thank you
