Has anyone noticed that when you wake your Mac running Lion (I have 2 MacBook Pros, a Mid 2011 model & an early 2010 model), the keyboard/mouse are frozen for about 3–6 seconds? A minor issue, I know, but I've reinstalled Lion completely and the issue remains. Snow Leopard never had that problem (I've tested that, too).

Any ideas on what's causing this, or better yet, how to fix it?

I see it too, I think its only when its in standby for a while. I'm guessing that to preserve battery, it goes from sleep to hibernate. The "freeze" is it waiting until the disk image has been read and is ready for you to login. Just a guess.
