lion GM and external monitors

i have a dual monitor setup with a 23'' samsung lcd. on SL, when i would close the lid of my mbp the laptop would go into sleep mode and the external would lose its connection and go dark.

on lion GM however if i close the lid of my mbp the laptop screen powers off but the external screen stays on. in order to sleep i have to use the keyboard command to sleep (cmd +opt + eject) on my external keyboard.

i don't really like how its implemented on lion. is there some function you can toggle in lion where if you close the lid the entire computer will go into sleep mode, not just stay on?
