Hi,

I am wondering whether I should upgrade my development Macbook Pro to the Lion GM. I want to start testing and preparing my apps for Lion but obviously, I would like to disrupt my work flow and environment as little as possible.

So I am wondering what happens when Apple releases the final version of Lion to the App Store. Will I be able to seamlessly upgrade the installed GM version to the final version (assuming they won't be the same)? Will I need to do it? Will my OSX Lion behave as a normal App Store bought version in terms of future OS updates? Or there is a chance I will have to reinstall everything after the final release comes to continue working normally?

Thanks!

Mate, as the software update function already works fine on GM, I believe it is a common expectation that any further updates to the GM will be via software update, be it a new GM or 10.7.1...
