I recently purchased Lion on my main iMac (w/ 10.6.8), and burnt the installer to a DVD with Disk Utility. I install Lion from the DVD, and everything works fine.

Now I insert the DVD on my other iMac (also 10.6.8), and the disc shows up as a completely blank DVD with nothing on it (and all space free).

This is driving me crazy, simply because my first Mac (where I downloaded Lion) shows the disc with the installer still on it. Is there anything I can do to get the installer to show up?

Please and thank you.

Have you tried booting your second Mac from the DVD?

Yes, and nothing happened.

Anyway, I eventually got it installed. I just transferred the installer app over Firewire, and installed from that.

Thanks anyway. :D
