Hello folks....

I just purchased a new, late 2011 MBPro 15". Prior to that I'd been using an older laptop, same model. The new MBPro came with a 750/5400 drive, and the very first thing I did after unpacking was to remove this drive and replace it with a 500/7200 drive I had. (I erased the drive and installed a fresh system, reinstalled ALL applications, and copied over my User data from a backup.) All is working great.

I have a copy of 10.7 GM which I used to install the system, never having actually purchased 10.7. However, with my purchase of this new laptop I am entitled to a legitimate copy of the OS. My question is this: how and where do I claim this copy of Lion that I am entitled to? Should I have first booted with the drive that came with the laptop?

Thanks!
