I have two macbooks.
Rev A 1.83 80gb 2gb ram 10.6.x
Rev F 2.1 120gb 2gb ram 10.7.x
By all accounts the rev F is a much better machine, but it feels slower and Geekbench confirms. The pic below confirms the Rev A on the left is indeed outrunning the Rev F on the right.
Is this common with Lion? My iMac (2.8) seems to run better on Lion, and my MBP (2.6) runs fine on Lion.
