Lion & iTunes Help Needed

Hey everyone

I'm running Lion GM along with iTunes 5 (bata 3) and I'd like to know how to select certain artists (I don't have enough space on my iPhone to store my entire iTunes library)

If anyone can help I'd be grateful :)
