Also, you can turn off Time Machine then turn it back on and that will delete whatever mobile backups you have.
 
If you turn off Time Machine and back up manually every time you want to, it won't make local snapshots.
Or you can use the terminal command provided in the link above but I didn't wanna mess with Terminal
 
Hey, I found answer to this a few days ago. Open Terminal and type "sudo tmutil disablelocal" without the " obviously. It will prob warn you about changing things and ask for your user password. When you type this in nothing appears to type on screen, but just type it and press enter, then enter the code I mentioned above and it will disable local backup.
