Lion Mail starting up as 'offline'

I've got a strange issue. When quitting Mail, and then restarting it, the accounts all appear offline (as in the attached image).

How can I resolve this?

Anyone else have the issue?

Edit: the accounts connect fine when clicking get mail, or take accounts online. It just at startup i have to do that, every time. Eg on restart or logon.
