I have MS Office for Mac 2008. I recently upgraded my iMac to use Lion OS 10.7.2. I use MS Word and Excel regularly and at times merge documents in Word with data from Excel. This has worked very well for me in the past. However I just tried to merge a simple form letter only to find that it can longer be done. I get the message "The converter necessary to open this file cannot be found"
Anyone know of an update?

MS Office 2008 was a PPC compatible program, I think you're going to have to get MS Office 2011. I have Office '08 on my G5 Power Mac running 105.8 and Office '11 on my late '09 Mini running 10.7.2 Server. They both work fine on their machines.
