OK guys.....here is a go-no go item for me. Perhaps someone can try this and let me know?
BACKGROUND
When Apple killed Appletalk support with SnowLeopard, I resurrected my old G4 to serve duty as a print server using Leopard. With this arrangement, I can still print to my venerable LWIIg without issue.
Hold onto your flames. The LWIIg is built like a tank with a TBO of well over 300k pages. As I have barely 6500 pages on mine, I see no reason to toss out a perfectly good laser printer and therefore spend money on one of half the build quality. Especially when it's money that doesn't need to be spent in the first place.
REQUEST
Can someone try networking with another machine that is running Leopard and report compatibility?
