Lion no Disc

I was talking to a FCP support engineer engineer yesterday (who was pretty good) and he told me when you get Lion and your system crashes you will have to reinstall SL then update and then download Lion again. No Install disc.

You can make your own disk.

Are they implying no install disc at all, no matter what, for a major OS upgrade? Wow.

But one would have to imagine that new systems actually shipping with Lion will come with recovery media.
