Lion - not impressed so far- what about you?

Working with Lion on MBA 2.13 Intel Core 2 Duo with 2GB memory.
Seeing a lot of colored pin wheels today. Very slow, finger motions work slow and Mission Control works some times. Not ready for the public yet, Apple!

Is your MBA still rebuilding it's spotlight files? This usually takes a couple hours after your initial installation of Lion, and will cause some considerable lag, depending on your configuration.

second that about the sluggish performance even after spotlight has settled down, boot up time was like 2 minutes, that was before it even arrived at the logon screen.

going to use the recovery partition to download and re-install, a poster on another forum said his macbook came back to life when he did a clean install, only another 1hr38 to go.

Did you make sure to do a software update and repair permissions before installing lion?
