Hi,

2010 Mac Pro 5.1 quad core
32 gig RAM
SSD boot drive (crucial C300 latest firmware)

i did a clean install of LION and all went well.
This was 3 days ago. I have no crashes. i enjoy the new features and am getting into all the gestures with my Magic Pad.

There is one big issue...

Lion is very sluggish.
Examples:

Ill try to launch a song in Itunes and often there will be a hesitation that can last for say 3 seconds.

Redraws of the screen while scrolling seem very jerky, sluggish.

This makes my whole experience very frustrating.
No snap.

Best,
SvK

What video card do you have, and have you been torturing your C300?

OS X lacks TRIM support and from what I remember the C300 doesn't exactly have the best garbage collection.
