So I installed Lion a while back on my 2007 Macbook (after putting more Ram in it). It has this weird problem that I just remembered I should probably post and ask about (I don't use that one much, it's my backup computer and the computer we use to watch stuff from the computer on the TV in the living room).
And a little later it started doing this thing when I was using itunes to watch a tv episode, about every 20-30 minutes (or rather a little less than 30 minutes), it would ask me if I was sure I wanted to log off (I'm pretty sure it is acting like I told it to logoff, maybe it was shutdown but I think it was logoff). You know the screen you get when you tell the computer to logoff or shut down and there is open software? I swear I don't do anything to the computer when it does this (I am on the couch watching the tv as I have the computer attached to it).
Oddly, it doesn't do this when I'm watching youtube or something directly from the internet though (at least if it does it doesn't do it as often but I think I've observed that I don't have this problem then). I do seem to have this problem sometimes when just perusing the net with the computer too. In general it seems to do it in times that I could see that maybe it thinks it is being inactive. At first it seemed to only do it when I was in the house account (setup for watching stuff from the computer) but I later noticed it was doing it when I was also in my personal account (when perusing the net, but maybe not posting anything or reading something while watching tv).
I tried searching for settings to see if it was some weird setting I had on cause that is what makes the most sense to me (beside it being an outright bug, I really hope not), but I can't seem to find any settings that would cause this.
Any ideas of where I might look (I have Lion on my MBP as well but I don't seem to see this issue. But I am more active on it and I don't use it to watch video on itunes so maybe I just don't do the thing that triggers it which seems to be related to the computer thinking it is inactive from what I can tell).
