Has anyone upgraded a rev B MBA to Lion?
Was there any change when it comes to:
- Speed
- Heat
- Battery life

Did you feel it was worth any potential drawback if there was any?

Thanks

I had the 2,1 1.86Ghz SSD model with 2GB of RAM running Lion. It was my test machine all threw the development of Lion.

With the final build it would run okay, but it is much slower than Snow Leopard. The lack of RAM led to a lot of beach balls. 2GB is the bear minimum for Lion and it really shows on the older Airs.

I put Lion on a RevA and it runs like a dream. The only drawback is the hoops you have to jump through to get Coolbook running.

Pushing this one back to the top.

I have a RevB 1.86 128SSD 2MB ram. Those with similar setups and have installed Lion, how is it working?

Thanks

MacBook Air Rev.A 1.6ghz here, 80gb HDD. Lion runs great, just as well as Snow Leopard did. Gonna upgrade to a 128gb SSD though, it will make things a lot faster ...
