I recently got a 2008 (rev 2?) MBA off ebay. This is my first mac, and im loving it. I was wondering how Lion would run on it. Its a 1.86, 2GB ram, 128SSD.

It runs snow leopard like a champ, and im loving OS X. Just wondering if upgrading to Lion was a possibility or if I should just ignore all the lion news as it starts to come out.
 
Lion will run like a champ on it. Seriously, if it runs on the early Core 2 Duo machines, it runs on the new 11" Air @ 1.4GHz, it will run perfectly fine on yours. I have pretty much the same Air and have no qualms about its future performance under Lion.
 
The 2GB of ram may end up being an issue with a few apps running at the same time, other than that though I don't see it being much of an issue.
