Lion or Snow Leopard on iMac from Amazon?

As I continue shopping around for my PPC G5 replacement, I took some time to look at the 1 to 3 star reviews for iMacs sold through Amazon. The recent low rated reviews suggest that the machines are being shipped with Snow Leopard while other Mac machines are coming with Lion.

Has anyone recently ordered an iMac from Amazon? The product listing says Lion. What did you get? Does it come with Snow Leopard + an upgrade disc?

I understand that it's a $30 upgrade. That's still a lower adder than any sales tax I would pay when buying form Apple.

Some people don't like Lion. If you buy one with Snow Leopard and then buy the upgrade, at least you have the choice.

I can't imagine that any Mac sold by Amazon (as opposed to being in the Amazon Marketplace) isn't fresh stock, and would have Lion. The sell a lot of units.
